The item is then rinsed in DI water (or in extreme cases RO purified water) and then, to assist drying, is briefly wet with acetone (an old chemistry trick), then air dried.

Mar 06, 2008 18:22 | #19 I've been cleaning my eyeglasses that way for years. The only thing I do differently is use filtered compressed air from my airbrush compressor to blow any moisture out of the crevice between the frame and lens. Gear List
