On my weekly visit to the park, this beautiful bird landed beside my bench. This was great for me as I hadn't seen one in years, they are rare in my area unlike the song thrush, which I first suspected it was. I only realised it was a mistle when I got home and saw the photo on my PC. I was very chuffed:D.

Great shot! it's tack sharp, so that's a plus too. I love how the bird stands out too. I agree that the pose looks like a young robin. Interesting.
