i don't really have alot of digital sports photos, most of what i did is on film, but i would say this is one of my favs on digital.

The car didn't catch fire - that was just some excess fuel burning off in the hot exhaust as the driver lifted off the throttle.

This one isn't great technically, it was years ago, a pig of a day and poor lights. But I still love the expressions on the faces, the pleading and the disdain!

Since the thread ask for your favorite sports photo and not your best one, I think this photo fits the bill. I was born in Mississippi in 1951. My father was deeply involved in the civil rights movement of the 1960's so I was keenly aware of the gap between the races. The image of the past Mississippi is the image of the present for many people, but much has changed in my home state. I think this photo is typical of just how much change has occured.

Is that steam coming off of the players? Whatever it is, it makes the first picture look overexposed. pretty cool though.
