another bird ID please

had no luck with the flycatcher in the cemetery today but saw these little guys in the reeds by the side of a lake,i'm guessing at reed warbler,could someone confirm please,taken with 30d,100-400mm,iso 500,f8,1/640. thanks in advance

I'm sure someone will get to it before I do but i'll look in my field guide book. But they are good photo's.

They certainly do have the markings of the reed warbler and the surroundings gives evidence to this. It's particularly the second shot that has the look of the reed warbler.
Great captures and pose of the first one Shazz. Well done on two excellent shots.

I would have to say reed warbler too, although the 2nd shot get me thinking immature wren. The wren can be a very tricky bird to ID without its tail pointed up.

I particularly like the second shot.

Another vote for a Reed warbler from me also and some good images you have taken of it.
