I was in the garden looking for some interesting flowers to take pictures of and found this

C&C welcome and tips appreciated as I am only a beginner and have had this camera for 2 days :)

Hi Kristine,

I'm by no means an expert but from what i've learnt with nature photography you need to use a tripod. This is especially the case in the open where a little wind can be noticed on the camera. The colours look really vibrant but the picture lacks a little sharpness.

If you haven't got a tripod yet, don't panic, even if you use something to rest your elbows on it might help, try a stool or something.

Don't be afraid to experiment.. as over time you'll find that you're getting better. Good luck!

Thanks for the advice, I will get a tripod as soon as I get some money... which should be soon I hope! :D
