I have had some requests locally for pet portraits, so i was thinking about doing them. i have been practicing on my own pets for setting and results are getting very good.

if this was your "pet portrait" what would you think?

(the actual shots will be taken on a regular portrait background muslin of course)

Also, if any one has experience, I'd appreciate pointers. ill be using a tamron 17-35mm and a nifty 50 for the shots, most likely.

They look a bit under exposed to me, no real detail in the eyes/nose.

Pets are tough but if you can figure out how to keep their attention it usually will go much smoother......:lol:
I also use a lot of natural light instead of a flash......
