Excellent shot my favourite shots are Yukio Kagayama's second shot and Alex Baros close up too. The background on the first is too similar to the bike and rider makes it hard to look at. Great shots though, are you making a living at this?

Thanks Borderfox. No, just a keen amateur shooting through "the wire"

I love #1.... Looks like he is sliding the rear out a bit. Drifting on a superbike?:)

All good pics. I just shot AMA superbikes for the first time this weekend, so I can appreciate the difficulty in shooting bikes. IMHO it's ALOT harder than shooting cars.

Nice work!:)

Excellent series and superb examples, I watched this on TV and felt it was the best racing I have seen for quite some time..:D

Hi Busterboy and thanks for the comments. 10 years ago I used to follow the tin tops and F1 but for the last 3 years I have been bitten by the motorcycle racing bug and there is just no comparison. Better to photograph, more exciting to watch and riders not hidden behind metal and glass. BSB and WSB have been great viewing for the past few years. I would recommend it to anyone.

Hi Paul,

Nice set of images as usual. My only nit with some of the images is that the white's are blown, might have been worth stopping down a 1/3 of a stop.

Regards

Rob

Hi Rob,

Thanks for comments. My guess is the blown whites are caused by rushed post-processing rather than camera, although the set I posted is a mix of 1D Mk II and 30D. Which ones specifically?

I will have a play on Saturday if I make it to Croft, otherwise it will be Cadwell.

Hi Paul,

I think the whites on images 2,3,4,6,7, & 13 are a tad hot, but as you say may be processing.

Regards

Rob
