What program do you use for loading the pictures from the camera to the computer? I've been using the standard Zoombrowser but I cant find a way to stop it starting Zoombrowser after the loading is complete, since I dont use it for anything (archiving done via Picasa and raw conversion done via photoshop).

Some people just "drag and drop" the files from the camera in explorer but this seems kinda tedious because theres several folders filled with pictures in the card, and you have to manually create a folder with the date on. And I dunno but my 350D shows up as a camera in explorer and just contains folders with no names and it shows only .jpg photos, doesn't show raws (not sure if it will copy the raws too if I copy the whole folder).

Is there any nice and pretty simple program that functions pretty similar to Zoombrowser download window? So that it wont load pictures already in the hd and can create new folder with the date on etc.

Hey Corey, thanks for the idea but it seems that Picasa wont load my pictures. It just says no pictures to show when I select my 350D. Any ideas?

Edit: Seems that "EOS utility" functions exactly like the Zoombrowser download window except I can set "Link images" to "none".

while a good investment, that really doesn't solve his problem.

I'm not sure why picasa won't read it.

True. Sorry...
Might be that Zoombrowser is interfering with Picasa? I think I've seen posts before where windoze machines had trouble 'seeing' CR2 files when the camera was used instead of a card reader...

Upgrade ZoomBrowser from Canon. The new version sees (and copies) RAW files.

I use a program called Downloader. It has an option for recognizing the camera but I've never used it since my box has built in card readers.
