Watching the local Rare Breeds show last weekend. Don't know the owner, but the dog is a Cane Corso.

OK, ratcheting up the maturity a tad... why do you think the image is sharp? Are you just commenting on the dog's anatomy or are you commenting on the image.

I happen to think that the image is well done. It makes you wonder what is over there that has attracted their attention?

A little photoshop work to take some of the dog's enthusiasm is called for...

I was admiring how they kind of looked alike...their sitting stance and the tops of their heads...they even both seem to have a bit of smirky look that says... "heh". He's wearing black shirt and white pants...and the dog has black and white as well.
My son who is 8, wanted to know if that is a Police man with his police dog...and if the white patch on the dog was its badge. lol However he didnt notice anything "else" about the dog. I too would try and photoshop out just how excited the dog is. ;)
I really like this shot though and I dont feel it is too sharp in anyway.
If only that dog would of had some sunglasses....lol.

Very cool pic. Reminds me of the movie Men in Black. Seems the dog has a lot of personality and might start speaking at any minute.

Wow you're calling that grown man a boy?

It should read a man and his dog!

Actually it's an allusion to a novella written by Harlan Ellison.

That's some nice bokeh you've got there. I also like the sharpness of the bench and the uneven lighting.

Excellent composure and use of DOF. I like how the entire foreground is in focus, but only the foreground. The matching poses of the owner and dog really sets the photo apart too.

wow nice picture.... looks a bit 'Miami vice' like.... I half expect a car to come scretching up behind him, two blokes to jump out and shout 'freeze, your busted'..... ;-)a

seriously thought, it is nicely composed with lots of good saturation and nice and sharp... it tells a story and does leave you wondering 'what are they looking at......

a leggy blonde cutie.... with a beautiful owner.... ;-)a
