Re Katrina, find some work by Melanie Burford - I went to a tribute dinner to her recently, her work is amazing. She got a Pulitzer, well deserved too.

It's not really same, but it works too :) Here (1 (external link), 2 (external link), 3 (external link), 4 (external link)) are few of my photos done this way. TS lens is just too expensive for those 2 or 3 times a year usage. And I wouldn't use it more then that for sure, so PS works too.

There was a guy here recently who did a series of shots like this from Utah - same thing - very real world images made to look like models.

LOL :lol: This thread is hilarious. :lol: I've heard of people going out of their way to photograph pictures of model cars and taking extreme care to make the image look as realistic as possible and here I read about people wanting to spend a grand to buy a T&S lens so that they can make a real object look like a toy. There's nothing wrong with that, of course, but it's just so funny. :lol:

I'm going to put the T&S lens on my wish list, too. :)

I don't beleive a TS lens is enough for this. I think you need the swing capability as well, so a large format is a must.
