OK, I'll admit it - there's some post processing gone on here to give it that old effect - C&C would be appreciated. I'll follow up in a moment with the mono version

Great picture, I too prefer the color here. I like the framing of the shot, and the border is a nice touch too.

It's a very old stone window that's been worn down over hundreds of years. I'd imagine something like sandstone as a lot of the buildings around there are made from that. The building itself is Broughton Castle in Oxfordshire. (stil lived in by relations of the Fiennes family - that of Ranulph (the explorer), Ralph and Joseph (the actors) - but it's open at weekends for a few hours each day to look around.

I like them both even though I have no idea what I am looking at...lol
I like the second one because the conversion leaves it a little less busy and makes it easier, for me anyway, to get my head around.. i like it though
