Weather, work, home life, and the woodworking hobby has kept me from getting out with the camera. I took this week off - not much of a vacation considering all the chores I've let build up - and managed a morning at Allen's Pond.

For the most part I think I remembered how everything works...

These are awesome captures. Love the swallow, the shiny feathers are beautiful. Nice timing on the sandpiper. Caught him/her sneaking.

Love the details and colour on the swallow, that's a very good shot.
looks like the bird in second shot is singing it's heart out.
And the tiptoeing sandpiper is also excellent, well done.
