I've never personally heard of the brand "Interfit". I'm betting most of the other members here haven't either, which would explain the lack of responce to your post.
While the price seems good, I have to wonder if these will hold up in the long run. If you DO decide to buy these, maybe you can let us know what you thought of them? ;)

Thanks for the reply. I'm just looking for something to get my feet wet.
Would just be used here at home, pictures of the kids and such.
I am looking at them because of price and the fact Porter's is only about a half hour from me, so I could go there and look at them.

I have heard of Interfit and they have a decent review on them in general. They are not something that is designed for high useage but for a starter kit it would probably be fine. You wouldn't be able to light large groups with them but for individual type of portraits they should do.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

If Porters is close, By all means, go investigate those lights. Ask the sales people questions about returns in the even you are not satisfied with them. Ask about warranty's, availabillity of replacement parts, etc.
Beware though, I'm also betting they will try and talk you into a more expensive set, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Use your own good judgement if they do. ;)
Personally, I think I'd look into a set of Alien Bee's first, so at least you can go there armed with knowledge of what else is out there. http://www.alienbees.com (external link)

The flash units are rather low-powered, the softbox is tiny, the umbrella is small, and the stands are short. This kit could be OK for tabletop work or very close-in work for portraits, but I suspect you would be looking for something better before long.

I would suggest that you save up a few more shekels and go for AlienBees equipment as a starter kit. I have several and find them quite well built, powerful enough, and very suitable for a variety of tasks.

Thanks for the replies, the more I think about it the more I think I will wait and save for something better.
