Good idea gone bad

Got my new lense today, and thought i would go out and try it in the evening.. (sigma 70-300).. i know it only takes decent pictures in bright light, but figured i would try it anyways because i was totting around my tripod.. well, im quite disappointed w/ it should of spent some extra money and got some more expensive glass. oh well. live and learn.. cant wait til my nifty fifty gets here im so excited....

just thought i would rant about that.. i had such high hopes, i really need to get a remote for my rebel.. prolly would of helped out w/ the camera shake..

why does that upset you?... the kit lens is still a useful lens and can produce excelent results.. If I were you i'd be happy that you have an inexpensive piece of gear that can give you nice shots..
