Hey guys

I've got a quick question. When you buy new lenses from B&H, does the lens box come sealed with canon factory tape? or does it just come in the cardboard box with nothing but..well cardboard? Reason I ask is that I have this paranoia that I might be getting a not-so-good copy of a lens that somebody else has tested and tossed or a copy that's been dropped etc etc.

I don't believe any Canon camera or lens has a seal on the box that has to be broken which would give you any clue that it has been returned. That said, I have purchased numerous items (lenses, filters, neg scanner, stereo headphones, etc) from B&H and they all arrived in perfect shape, and I've never had to make a return. I'm more leary of my local camera shop ...

A little Faith?...that's why I buy from B&H. Their price isn't often the very lowest you can get, but they're reputable and always have a good price.

I might be wrong, but I don't think the lenses bought from the Web site come from store inventory, they come from a B&H warehouse. The ones that go to the store stay there until they are sold there.

Have Fun,

Rick

Have Fun,

I believe this is true, BHp sells far to many lenses online for 99.9% of them to have ever been handled by people.
