I've tried googling how this lens compares to it's siblings and found very little information. I'd like to know basic stuff like does it extend, hows the quality etc. So does anyone here have it?

But if you want to see its "twin", research the Sigma 50mm Macro DG...they are identical in almost every way.

Weird, atleast the first three stores I checked list it as stocked and with 1-2 days shipping time. 350D + BG-E3 + kit lens + 50mm F1.8 II
