Snapped this one of my son on the watercress line steam train at Alresford in Hampshire earlier today. Not posed - I was trying to get a shot out of the window turned and saw this instead . . . Bot of post-processing on the colour but that's it - Not Draganized! C&C appreciated

What makes this shot great in my opinion is that it's not posed. It really makes you wonder what he's thinking and what he's seeing. It's well composed and I like the color treatment. It's a great image that I'm sure you'll never tire of looking at as he grows up. Definitely frame it.

Only critique would be that the eyes are very dark, it'd be nice to have a bit of color/detail there, flash at the time might have helped and there may not be much you can do about the detail now. It doesn't detract from the shot but it'd make an awesome shot just that much better.

Thanks for sharing.

Great shot! As a mother, the whole mouth on the wood just makes me cringe, but it makes for an awesome shot! ;)

Thanks for all the comments - very encouraging and appreciated :)

Noelle8818: I know exactly what you mean about his mouth on the wood - I thought the same thing.
