Welcome to the forums and great captures of light and nice processing.

HDR stands for High Dynamic Range and is a technique of combining several shots of the same image, but taken with different exposures, so that the composite image gets a wide range of levels throughout the dark and light areas. Here's a Wikipedia (external link) link on the subject.

Nice shots, I like the PP work you've done on them.

I don't recognise that view from Kirkstone (too busy keeping my bike between the walls :D ). Is it far from the road? I'm guessing it's near the top?

I really like those shots. The first and last particularly. The dynamic range is wonderful, however I feel that the depth of the cloud shadows might be a little too dark for my taste.

i was going to say no 3 for me but then i kept scrolling down the page and ended up at the top again to try to pick a fav,in the end i decided that i think they are all great ,i love them all,well done
