I was at our botanical gardens today - hoping to find some worthy subjects!! I feel I found a coupl & hope y'all enjoy, too!

Very nice I just love dragon fly's, and the ones near us just always seem to pose for us. Your pictures are very sharp and great contrast. Congrats

Way cool! Thanks!!!:D :D Seems the hotter it is, the more they pose! I also like the fact if they do fly off, they usually come back to the same area...sometimes, anyway!!!! Where are you skydolphins?

You are doing great. So no need to be nervous.:)
When you see dragonfly that was cooperative, You can try different angle, for example shooting them from the side. Just a suggestion. Some examples here.

Thanks! I have other sides & faces...I'll post some of them after I get home! These were my favorites and wanted to start with them!!! I can't see your shots from work, will check them out also, when I get home! Thanks a bunch!
