Sigma 15-30mm

Ive been offered a second hand lens Sigma 15-30mm f/3.5-4.5 EX Aspherical DG DF, the owner has mentioned it seems to have a green cast to the pics (ive never noticed this) but he also said it has been this way from new and sigma said there was no fault. The lens is in great servicable condition but has been well used on wedding shoots.

What price should i be looking at as ive been offered it for £200, is this a fair price providing all is ok with it. And are they a good ultra wide non canon lens.

Not sure about the pricing as I live stateside, but it's definitely a good lens. A bit prone to flare, though. Any cast it may have, user error or otherwise, can easily be fixed through PP (especially through RAW conversion).

Went ahead and bought it, got it for £150 and also managed to buy a 550ex speedlight incl. stoffen diffuser/ omni £100 and a hood for my 28-135 IS for a tenner so worked out that i spent a little more than planned but i feel i picked up quite a bargain as all is in as new cond.
