I don't think so because on this page http://translate.google.com …afari%26rls%3Den%26sa%3DN (external link)

(translated by google) it lists the new canon 1dsmkiiN firmware to be listed in Oct of 2006

Check about halfway down this page for a bracket set up...it's made specifically for the
EOS 1D MK II, EOS 1D MK IIN AND EOS 1DS MK IIN

WHOA, no way that's a typo.

I think you have to take that possible typo with a grain of salt.
It's just a bracket manufacturer.
Do you think Canon would give that kind of info to just anybody?

And the Babelfish translation (hard to read, but you get the gist)

... 350D next generation machine have the possibility in front of EOS 30D issued that, the new style fuselage by the naming will be EOS 370D. From the fuselage naming, EOS 370D as if only is EOS 350D slightly changes the promotion version, but in fact, EOS 370D adds on the young Xu function actually lets the person exceptionally be excited. As everybody knows that, at present most puzzles digital Shan Fan is the CCD dust removal question, but except Orrin Buss outside, but also does not have that family factory to provide this function, but is good can newest EOS 370D actually hopefully solve this problem. From is good can in an outside package of components supplier learn about that, the 350D successor machine issued to the spring, moreover this type will be first section has CMOS automatic dust removal function DSLR.

The Czech to English translation:

"Scarcely twain hour about signification Nikom D80 plus tidings within Fujifilmu S3 to find tidings too within subsequent toward digital reflex-camera , this once since Canon plus to on someone's behalf Canon EOS 370D. Vignette pave news to started firstly within čínském webu PCOnline. What about within upstairs Canon toward this once? Allegedly Mpix CMOS sensor AF fps rapid fire DIGIC II processor , support memory bit Charles typu CF as well as SD MMC , 3" visual display unit , speeds časy 1/8000 30 with USB 2.0 interface plus price tag aromatically USD. WITHIN subsequent splinter budeme apprise."

I think they mean that since the D80 was introduced, Canon has something up its sleeve

Gotta love translation engines ... I want my aromatic price tag ;-)a

I don't know what it is, but the idea that it will make me "exceptionally be excited" is a plus. :)

That's the way to sell a camera. Hot model included.. now please spend the extra cash on the 85 f/1.2L MkII!

The picture looks like a redone black colored EOS 300D, but I could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time. Must say that the badge seems to show a little bit of the second digit and it is a bit too round to be a 7.
