Now that the blackberries are getting ripe, the yellow-jackets are enjoying themselves. I like how he gets his whole head into the berry.

Cool shots. I like the second one too.
While his head is inside the berry, you can snap pics of him all you want, at least he won't see you.

Excellent shots. Very good dof. I always have trouble with that.

Good shots, I like #3 the best also. I have hardly seen any wasps this year at all arround here..

Thank you all for the kind words.
Those yellow-jackets (wasps) really love blackberries. As I was getting the camera ready two of them got into a fight over one berry. They went at each other with such vigor that they fell off the berry and landed on the ground below. I am not sure which one came flying back a few moments later.
