Hello,
Great site, great images. Up until now I've been mostly a vacation photographer, but I bought my first digital this spring and now would like to learn and get better. All C+C welcome. Also, are these images too large ?

Great stuff ! May I ask what lens you are using for these? I might suggest that there be a greater depth of fiels somewhere in the middle of the tulip field so there is actually a more focused area... Love the insect photos..!!

Thanks eveyone for the kind words and thanks Woodburr for the welcome.

Peach,
I checked out your link, top notch work! The tulips were shot with the 100-300 and while I'm not at home with the info, it probably was shot wide open.It was my first day with the camera and I think I was still in film mode and didn't shoot it at many diffent settings.I get your point on the DOF,a little deeper might have been nice. The other two were shot with the 28-105.

Oh, that 28-105 can capture a nice image! (of course when directed by you and your clever eye for composition !) (Thanks for looking at my site and kind comments)
