I have one of these. Ok lens

However im selling due to having a 70-200mm F2.8L

I had one for a while to test & it was ok, nothing special in terms of build quality, it even had a large white spec of dust or something on the inside of the lens, not very good for a brand new lens!

But the pictures it took were fine, here are some samples.

I've had one and will also say that it's an OK zoom. I sold mine as soon as I got the 70-200mm IS though.

Its fine on a good light day, but once you get to lower light conditions you'll need a tripod to steady things.

Had one. It has the build quality similar to the kit lens. Optics were pretty good though.
AF is a bit better than the kit due to the USM. Even new they are only about $250 or so.
