Ask most Quebec inhabitants what the Granby city is famous for, chances are they're going to answer it's its zoo. (Or Ben's poutine. ) It had been about 16 years since I went there with my parents, armed with a 110 Everflash... I went to visit it again 2 weeks ago with newer technology around my neck.

It was a really hot day, most animals were looking for the shadows.

There was an exhibition where visitors could pet a shark (I touched one!). Pictures turned out so-so since lighting wasn't ideal. It was actually nurse sharks (external link), a quite docile specie.

C&C appreciated.

Thanks all. Yeah, it was hard to capture a "natural" background. The lions' place was set below the spectator area, that's the reason I didn't get steel fences or a "savanah-painted" brick wall.
