Digital Ixus and extra lenses

Has any one had much experience of using a digital ixus with telescopes?

Any advice on the subject, I know you can't physically attach it to a telescope but I have seen a number of pics using a telescope eg: http://www.spaceweathe​r.com/eclipses/gallery​_09jan01.html (external link)

but haven't been able to trqck down any advice on using telescopes and any other lenses with an ixus.
