I keep wanting to buy stuff for my camera. Whether its the 550ex flash, or the cheapest L series lense.. I somehow think it will give me better photographs.. perhaps i should learn how to use the stuff i own first  but where's the fun in that.. :o

as you can see from my sig, i am quite the impulse buyer.. haha, but i try to refrain myself.. arggggghhhh

just ranting so i don't click the "proceed to checkout" button. :o

Yep. You're going to have to do something other than hang out on these internet forums, buying photo mags and browsing the inventory at B&H in order to cure that. I got it! Go out and take pictures! ;)

I think you have a set of nice starter lenses. You should be able to get some nice photos with them. Even though they are consumer type lenses but by no means crappy. Just go out more and take some photos. Hang out more at the "Critique Corner" forum and the "Talk about Photography" forum, than the "EF & EF-S Lenses" forum.;)
When you start taking some good photos, hang out at the "RAW & Post Process" forum to make your photos from good to "great".:)
