Here are a couple from a week back. I got to try out the 200 1.8 on the water for the first time. These were all shot at 1/8000 sec at f1.8, ISO 100. Need to play some more with the lens to get the feel of it but wanted to see if I could seperate the rider from the background and foreground shooting wide open.

C & C welcome, Thanks for looking,

Pete

Excellent shots, love the first one. Sharp as a tack. 200 f1.8 is that a macro prime?

As usual Pete, excellent work! I like the first shot best.

Thanks Karl, it was fun to go out and try some new equipment. Have not had much time in the last few weeks but I am setting up a trip or Orlando in September and hope to spend a couple of mornings and early evenings on the water with some friends. Should get some great stuff from that.
Thanks for looking,
Pete

Cory thanks for looking, shooting anything on the water brings it's own challenges. This one is fun to shoot though.

Borderfox, Thanks, the 200 1.8 i s not a macro. It was discontinued by Cannon in the 90's but is reguarded as one of the sharpest lenses they ever made, I was lucky to find a very clean copy this summer.

Redfish, thanks for looking/

beano, this lens will put you in rehab for sure, it is very addictive to use....
