Was wondering about defining abstract photography and how does abstract differ from Macro and can ya post a few pix or links?

I don't feel that macro photography in its basic sense falls into this category. Macro is just taking things up very close. Perhaps if you start to get so close that things are unidentifiable then maybe. To me abstract would be doing things that are way off the chart of what we would call normal. What is normal to be could be abstract to you. That's the thing I love about photography, it is totally subjective in the eye of the beholder. I wouldn't say that I have anything that falls into my definition of abstract photography so I can't post anything. My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.
