DJ does rock! His marketing skills are second to none in our business and to stay a great guy speaks tons on his ethics which in this business can be slim for many photographers.

To me his camera skills mean nothing, you can always be a great amazing photographer and if your simply unethical to me it means nothing. DJ is the complete package in this business,

ethcial, cool, and talented!

That's interesting you would say that. I would argue, though, that ethics can be slim in any business. Actually, ethics is what kept me from starting my own business for a while. I didn't want my ethics to suffer from the drive to make (a lot of) money, which, obviously, is a huge part of business. I just have to remember that it's about the people, and if I'm concentrating on them and their needs, then I will be in the head space I should be.

I completely agree, having been a CSI Investigator for years I seen it first hand in the worst professions out there.

I agree again, very well stated.

I feel DJ has both of these, at least from what I have seen and heard from others in the business.

WOW! I've heard of him but this is the first time viewing his work. It's amazing. I viewed it right before I shot todays wedding at it was very inspirational and gave me some cool ideas.

thats what you'd learn at the conference, its all about the software.

I'm thinking more about buying the software than the plane ticket, as I'd end up getting the software anyway if I went.

Theres a $20 off for the effects package in his montly email right now

How do you buy this? What type of effects are they?

Thanks,

- Joanna

Here's a couple of slideshows I have up using showitfast. It's not actions in PS it's a separate program. Nice thing about it is that it lets you set up the timing for your slide to music easily.

You guys are amazing! Honestly I can't tell you how flattered I am by this post and how blessed I've been to be able to be a wedding photographer for the past four years.

I had no intentions of going into wedding photography but I fell in love with it pretty quickly and continue to find so many incrdible people in this industry.

I look forward to being on here more and getting to know all of you!

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone.

:)
DJ
