Finally decided to go shooting at night... no tripod! 400ISO max.... 800ISO looks too nasty! (i'm discovering the limitations of my equipment!)

All pictures were from a moving car, handheld

Anyway... C&C if you feel the need! :)

My neighborhood at sunset

Sunset from the highway (dirty window in front of me)

I spy an IS! (trying the "rolling" shot... came out well I think)

I spy our indiscreet police force!

Texas State Capital (very happy with this shot!)

some PP on that last one huh? The TX capital has more of a red tint to it normally. I like it though.

actually, i didnt play with the color at all oddly enough. I know the stonework has that "austin stone" in it (pink stone). I guess the lighting at night makes it more neutral :/

however, I did remove a "soverign bank" sign on the left and some lights coming from a building to the right to focuse the viewer more on the capitol :)

Did you know? Some where in Texas there is a replica of the Liberty Bell.
There is a post that is asking people to locate the bells, capture and post.
I think is is called 'Liberty bell found'. There is a web site to help you locate yours in Texas.. Thank you for sharing...
