Np. The fact is, this isn't an upskirt photo, quite the contrary. I think it shows her in a good light. It was not distasteful, and I personally think it was almost showing the art of the human bosy with curves.
Is she good looking? Sure. Does that make this candid porn? Gosh I hope not. Just because I capture a female athlete jumping, and she has a great body, or great legs, etc, it doesn't mean I'm aiming for upskirt.
There is nothing wrong with taking a picture of a beautiful woman. Not one person would have had a moral objection if this image were of a homeless person, showcasing is struggle on the streets, in a contrasty black and white.
Yet, because the subject provides a clean, pleasing image to the viewer, we get all of this flack, essentially equating it to near-upskirt photography. Honestly, its not like Mark caught a nip slip, or was telephotoing over a fence into a nude sunbather's backyard.
The girl was in a public place, standing elegantly enough, and she happened to have pleasing curves and skintone, etc.
When the hubby, friend, male escort saw that images were being captured, he motioned for cessation of the photographing, which Mark not only complied to, but also had already stopped.
Furthermore, had the male or the subject approached Mark and politely explained that they wanted the images deleted and why, he would have complied the same. But they didn't.
Then, he makes a post online to share his capture, no different than an urban photojournalist capturing homelessness. He isn't asking for money, he hasn't put them on a porn site or a 'upskirt' site. He posted them here.
When he posted the images, he didn't title the thread 'HOT BODY' or 'Nice piece of bum (ed.)'. He called it 'Candid by Hard Rock Pool'.
To me, this was nothing but flattering to the subject, and NOT ONLY did he not break any laws that *I* know of, but he respected the subject in the way he displayed the images.
Maybe I'm out in left field, but if we're calling THIS offensive, we really need to re think the P.C. status of our country. There simply must be a lot of sheltered people out there. It would be hard for me to think of a more respectful way to go about this, but very easy for me to think of the ways Mark COULD have done this worse. This simply was a respectful candid shot.
