I noticed that dpreview has the Canon 400D listed (but not reviewed) and there is a link to pricing (via Amazon)

ok, is there a question or a statement in there?

its not available for actual purchase yet, so no real price point for a street price can be set. MSRP is out there, but thats all

I was making a statement, that Amazon.com had a price. The validity of that price was not judged.

its available for perorder only, so they can't really list a street price yet.

Nice features coming with it though.

1) 10.10MP
2) 9 focus ponits
3) 2.5" LCD
4) Improved 2.8 AF (My L's)
5) Some small blah, blah stuff

I have a 30D and love it but certainly would of bought this one instead for the price.

Right now I'm trying to convience an XT buddy he does not need this so I'll keep the upper hand on him ;) If he buys it then I'll just have to go with a 1Ds. Sigh!
