I believe this moose to be about two years old. He certainly wasnt bothered by our being so close. These pictures don't do justice to this wonderful animal. For those of you familiar with Algonquin park, these shots were taken just north of HWY # 60 near Lake of Two Rivers.

Welcome to POTN 'neighbour'. Nice looking rainbow, but its a little small :D Try resizing your image so that its no longer than 800 pixels on the longest side and post it again.

Scott, your Algonquin title got my interest, we've been there many times. It's always a pleasure to see a moose. We'll look forward to you posting a big bull with a full rack! How close were you to this one?

Algonquin is a beautiful park...lots of wild life of all kinds. I was about 20' from this moose, which is highly unusual (or stupid ;) ) but as it was fairly young it seemed safe. Here is an uncropped shot of his profile.

Nope, still the same size. I'm finding this almost funny. I just purchased Photoshop so let's hope this gets better. Oh well, it was a nice try. I'll post again when i THINK i am better at this.
