This is part of the central region of the Milky Way located in Sagittarius. Summer is coming to an end soon and this area will disappear into the light pollution prior to sinking below the horizon. Weather was perfect. No wind, no clouds, and no Moon! I took them at various focal lengths with the camera piggybacked on the telescope. All images were shot at f/4 and are five 3-minute exposures stacked. Dark frames were applied to all five exposures prior to stacking. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did taking them.
