This seems to be a common theme with their rebate program. Well actually I don't think that I have ever found a rebate program for any product that is really fast about getting you your money back. I also doubt I've ever seen one that was actually run by the manufacturer themselves.

The rebate program is a good hook from a marketing point of view. If you are going to promise it then deliver it like it should be. I hope that Canon is taking notice and that those of you that take the time to post those comments here are also taking the time to write to Canon as well.

I find the whole program to be flaky at best and that is why I always tell people that they should never make a buying decision on a rebate program. To save a couple of hundred dollars on a couple of thousand dollar purchase and this is the pivotal point then you probably shouldn't be buying in the first place. I always look at rebate cheques like found money.

Good luck in getting yours.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

I've actually been pretty fortunate on receiving all my rebate submissions but the aggravating wait process they adhere to is ridiculous.

I got my Tamron rebate on on the 28-75mm lens last year 11 days after I sent it in ... I was shocked on that one.

I received all my Canon rebates. In my experience, they are one of the better companies dealing with rebates. Some just plain lie to you and say thing like "the UPC is missing" even though it is included.

they're all bad.

I had $400 epson rebate, for months it said it wasn't received yet, then all of a sudden it arrived in my mailbox.
