It should always be correct. It's Canon's money maker. You get people on budgets, people who are just moving into the DSLR world, etc. Digital is becoming more and more popular as well.

Now that absolutely amazes me! 2 1DS models, and 2 1D's? I'm sure you have your reasons for having two of the exact same 1D versions, but, pray tell, what are they?

We do mainly weddings, averaging now two a week, (this one a few days ago: http://www.yourweddingproofs.com/kpmartinez/ (external link) ) always with two photographers. And, we keep a variety of lenses on the cameras ready to go from 200mm to fisheye. This method is an automatic backup if experience any equipment failures.

Glad to see the number of other 5D owners out there. Sometimes it seems rather lonely! Maybe we should form a 5D club, since the camera is rather unique among digital slr's.

it looks like once you get to the current models there is a very clear correlation between popularity and price, the 20D or 350D leading the pack as the cameras of choice for 1/2 of POTNers

Went from 350D, 400D and now the 30D. 400D was almost perfect. It was just time to move on.

The 400D just came out?!? How could it be "time to move on?" (I'm not disputing your choice of 30D, I just bought one, I just thought that was an odd remark since they've only been out for a month...)
