Taken a couple of months ago now....It's another 3 shots HDR'd. I think it's probably a little over sharpened and that's something a need to get a grip on...but i'd be pleased to here your thought on it.

Nice long exposure. I'm surprised the sky didn't get blown out. I guess thats why it is an HDR. Did you use Photomatrix on this? What were your settings. I can't seem to get a nice tone mapping with moving water. Oversharpened a bit , yes. Otherwise a well done scene.

I agree that it is probably oversharpened a little. However, it is still a great shot. Postcard photo by a long shot! Nice work.

Nice shot, only slightly over sharpened and not too noticable.

Many thanks for the comments and maybe I'll reprocess and upload a lesser sharpened version sometime soon....especially after learning a few tricks from a professional photographer, who very kindly went out of his way to help me with my photography and has also offered to take me on a shoot. I don't want to name drop....but thanks once again.

Yes I do use photomatix for my HDR's and if you'd care to have a look at this thread https://photography-on-the.net …php?p=1912857#post1912857
You will find a desription of my workflow, although it was for a different pic.....the settings do not change much.
HTH.
Thanks again.
Ken.

No problem with sharpness on my screen.
Now go back to the falls, get your feet wet and let's see what's around the corner of those rocks!

On my calibrated ViewSonic Pro Series LCD the sharpness looks spot on to me and a very nicely photographed image too boot.

Thanks Paul, I've been to these falls 2 or 3 times.....I have quite a few shots from different angles and even some from behind the falls, managing not only to get my feet wet but also covering the front of my lens with splashes ;) :D ......I cloned about 4 rather large splashes out of this pic. (While I got away with it maybe I shouldn't have mentioned that)
