would love to take credit for the "Trinity", but alas it was not me. I just "popularized" it. LOL :)

Now I do like "the Hubble". It is kinda fun for this lens EH?

you know Tim, I had heard that stepping up to this lens was a step up from a 70-200 2.8 IS in IQ. I did not believe it. I can truely say, that the focus and sharpness of this lens is AWESOME. Focus preset is Amazing. Wish all longer lenses had it like the 70-200 2.8 IS. Did I sing the praises of the Case? I want bigger canon lens trunks to use as luggage for my clothes when I travel!! :):):)

Dante..

We can tell the people of this forum what a demon lens this is but we cannot make them believe it.;)

Just keep posting those beautiful pictures and those people that are just thinking about buying this lens will just crack and get the CC out and melt it..

polar bears, penguins, santa claus, elves, reindeer, igloos, eskimos and any other of the stereotypical animals and characters whose origin and home doesnt really matter as long as we can lump them together with total inaccuracy

Dante, if there is nothing to shoot in AK, come on over to CT. We'll go shooting something memorable, like: "Califorian tourist being rubbed of his lenses, while the attackers carries them in the fabulous case" :D

Congrats on a beuatiful lens!

Dang!... It's hard to see if there is a camera on the end of that lens.... a 350D?... That lens would go well with the 5D or even 1D, although all the money probably went into the Lens rig.

How much did all that white cost ?... Lens, hood, and TCs... Just curious.

Impressive, nonetheless. This is one case of lens color not making a difference. even a black lens that size would attract all the attention.

Cheers,

Glass and TCs would be approx 4500 usd. Not sure how much for the disposable camera Busterboy has taped onto the end of "the Hubble". might be one of those new camera look alike lens caps
