Yes, and I also recall you saying that while you were disappointed with the 135, you switched to the 24-70L and were once again rockin' out. Doesn't make sense, but hey...it works. :-D

For the 300 2.8, I'd be tempted to give up a good portion of my lenses. Honestly, I could live with a 50 1.4 and the 300. Really I could. Heyyyyyy...I'd have enough for the 300 too! :p Just kidding. My stuff stays. The only one that is up for debate is the 35L.

You know what Ronnie, this would really work. with a 50 1.2 and a 300 2.8 you would have almost 90% of all shooting needs taken care of. Really!!

I am kind of hoping, that if I go to Dante's resturant, it could be like an Easter egg hunt. But with the lens acting like eggs, so if you find it, you get to keep it!! :p

you don't have to yell. I'm gonna cry if you yell at me.

You should have stopped at B&H when you were in Massachusetts and picked it up and carried it home like a baby. Or I could have picked it up for you. I would have taken real good care of it, ya know.

As to the loaded 45, I didn't know you had the 45 tilt shift too.

Not if he's got one of those Tempurpedic (sp?) mattresses. Then, even the wine he'd toast his new lens with wouldn't spill.

PS: Ron, your memory continues to be accurate. Switched to the 24-70 and shot on.

But I am toying with the idea of a partial sell-off for the 300 f2.8. I would rather wait, though, and get it without having to sell anything. Time will tell.

Oh heck, those lenses you've got are nothing special. that's like me and my 24-70L. I know I'm gonna get a good one (they're all good), so I can sell and buy as much as I want, knowing that I can rest assured the next one will be great as well. Those three lenses will be exactly the same when you buy them back again later. It'll be fun, too...you'll be able to have fun buying and selling, and you'll get your big 300, and then you can get a new lens that you won't use every once in a while after that! Or, keep what you have, and save up forever for the 300. I'd rather get a new lens every few months and end up with the same thing. It's more fun! ;-)a
