At the beginning of August, admittedly, but it was a good day...

a super set of shots and all have the right color/tone in the background love the wing shadow on that seagull.

Very good shots Keith, the kittiwakes shot is a cracking good shot. This shot surely should have a caption. Good clarity in all the shots, well done.

I freely admit that the "zebra striping" caused by the shadow of the bird's primary feathers - while still (flukily!) getting a decent catchlight in the bird's eye - made it for me too.

I'll take luck over ability any time!

very nicely done. with the 100-400 are you going handheld mostly, or is a tripod necessary with the smaller max. ap?
