http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZmrbassman55QQhtZ-1 (external link)

Loads of high end stuff on there

300 2.8s
200 2.8s
a 50mm f1.0
1D MkII

etc

Looks like a hijacked account, most have "The total price including shipping and handling is 650GBP" on the items and "contact me for buy it now"

Have reported it to Ebay...

Have we turned into the militia for busting scammers selling cameras? It just seems so easy to spot them I can't believe that E-bay can't set up a system that scans all listings looking for email addresses in listings to stop it themselves.

Moral of the story, do not go to e-bay for cameras period.

It's so easy to use html tags to lift text from a site external from ebay. When my wife sells (or rather tries to sell) stuff on ebay, I put the photos on my site and link in with html so she pays lower fees. She never seems to add up the cost of advertising things that don't sell. I reckon she's barely breaking even. Personally, I wouldn't buy "bargains" to sell on ebay. I'd save my money and instead of trying to sell unwanted stuff there (which hardly ever sells) I'd either donate it to charity to get tax relief or simply chuck it in the bin. I remember trying to sell a laptop on ebay and getting non-paying bidders and nobody buying. After about $20 in fees and no sale (even though it worked) I threw it in the bin rather than waste more money. I had enough no-sales and non-paying bidders in my three months on ebay that it just seems to me that it's well worth avoiding - and don't forget the stuff that is badly described and badly packaged that arrives broken or malfunctioning from dodgy sellers. EBay is everybody's rubbish dump.
