I like this shot! Has a great feel to it. Almost as if it's a character from one of the older RPG games.

Sure, no problem, I am also mainly an opportunist photographer and take pictures of situations occuring in front of my eyes. I like this one. However, I would probably clone the bag out before posting. I am not very much in favour of digital 'cheating' but in this case I would recommend it. Would anyone agree?

I wouldn't. Doco is doco. The truth is that the woman was there and of obvious attention to tourists. That's what the picture says. Fashion sure. but personally doco/travel/landscapes I think should all be unaltered in that sense.

I took a lot of photos in Inda and had to accept thopse problems in some of my shots.

Thats the skill of doco, capturing there and then. All reality, well a view of it at least, at that very moment.

But that is only my opinion.

Well, good point and I agree with most of it. However, I would not be such a doco purist. It all depends on the intention of the photographer. Camera even without digital manipulation shows only a fragment of reality. For example what if instead of cloning I would apply tighter zoom? The camera bag would not be seen then. Is that cheating too? I would consider camera bag essential if it was intentional but distracting if I wanted to show the woman only. I would pose the question: Does the pure doco exist at all? It all depends on the photographer anyway what is included and what is not.

Yeah I should have framed this shot better,
I would not like to manipulate this image.

Cloning is cloning. It is not image. Its sorta like a white lie still being a lie.

Sameerb, imperfect shots are good, everyshot being perfect is rather boring.
