Excellent shots and evem more impressive in that they were hand held. I don't think I would attempt handholding that combo at less than 1/1000 sec even with IS. I like them all but that 3rd shot jumps right out at me...great looking bird with lots of character, great perch and environment.

These are very good bird shots, the reach is excellent and picked up beautiful detail and colour in the shots. My vote goes for the third shot for composition, pose, detail and colour.

Beautifull shots and framing... the last pic looks like it should be THE refernce photo of that bird for any one looking it up.

Intimidating to say the least...I have a hard time getting close to that kind of sharpness with this combo (On a Tripod)
