Canmera Restrictions Texas Rangers

Does anybody know of any set rules about Cameras for Ameriquest stadium in Arlington - Texas Rangers

I don't know about MLB, but NBA is usually 200mm or less...the popular thing to do is use a 70-200 on a DSLR with a crop factor and then either a 1.4 or 2.0 extender...that can get you 640mm equivalent staying within the "rules".

I just went to their web site. It says cameras are permitted. No reference to lens size. The only prohibition is not to interfere with others ability to view and enjoy the game.:lol:

My impression for lens length restrictions was that a long lens often means you are a "pro" photographer and you'd be competing with the house photog and all the credentialed photogs.

If someone in the stands was hitting my head with a 400, I'd smack him and take the lens and run :lol:

Same thiing with the San Diego Padres.

The only difference between the two is that the Padres don't suck...

well thats true were going up to dallas cause my sis goes to north texas and were going to a rangers game but i was just wondering im waiting till the xti is for sale till i buy my lenses

yes rangers do suck

Pro's get Press Passes. Since Rangers are about last in the standing I don't think many Pro's are interested in them. Not Like if they were the 1st Place YANKEES.
