My pair of zooms. Interesting to note that the standard zoom is the most indispensable lens I have.

Lightstream, how did you get that EF-S lens to go safely onto a 5D?

I'm impressed with all these modified lenses. But being totally unhandy, i'll just observe you all doing it.

You can do the "18-55 EF-S to EF" trick with the 17-85, as the plastic thing is the difference from the EF metal mount.

Middle of the road Canon 28-105mm, taken a few knocks and scrapes (and yes that is a piece of tape covering the focus meter scale). I don't mother my lenses from the big bad world.

Waiting for the Tokina 16-50 2.8 to come out before getting something optically better than this fine non-L lens.

Or clean them! Look at the dust on that lens! :p

While i very much disslike the kit lens i must admit that it is currently the one i use most. It's main job is for ebay product shots , macro and acting as a dust cap for the body ;)
-notice the home made front mount with full electronics? When used reversed it offers o.6 -4 x magnification. Not quite the same as the MP-e 65mm macro but very close! :D:D

I've actually got two. For shooting concerts, the workhorse is the 70-200mm f/2.8L.

For walkin' around, I was impressed with the Sigma 17-70mm on a recent trip to Montreal. It was the only lens I took with me, and the results were pretty stunning...

The 24-70L I've posted isn't the one I currently have. That was my last one. The one I have now is in better shape. That one is too, but the light made it look bad.
