on a dull day in Galway Bay gulls and swans and other birds gathered

Like the first shot a lot Marie - nice one.

Wonderful shot of the Gull convention, however I don't think they are paying to much attention to the keynote speaker in the second shot , Must be a very boring speech he's giving cause it looks like it's putting him to sleep also.

Great shot marie, I agree with winston, the key speaker must be very boring as it's sending them all off to sleep at their annual convention..

Very nice group shot Marie.

When you run out of things to shoot, (NOT likely), you can try something like this just to keep busy!

the grain looks good and the bird's eye

the wingspan behind looks a bit like an arm
like you are holding the bird out (for take off)
just like those fellows do with hawks
except the bird is headed your way
(if this were the case and that was a hawk)


lovely curve on the other wing
the head looks chiselled out of wood

I liked that one too

his legs looked wonderful as he debated with himself whether to fly away .......or just to stay ....
