I was just wondering if anyone has any input on these two batteries. I really can't fork out the $160.00 my local Henry's wants me to pay for two extra batteries for my Rebel XT and while searching around I found these two batteries on two rather reputable sites.

The first of course, B&H;

And the second, Sigma4Less;

Any input appreciated, as I am contemplating on picking up 2 of these batteries :)

I got a back up battery from www.overstock.com (external link) for about $13 + $1 shipping and I have had no problems with it. I have only recharged and used it about 3 times so far and B&H sells the same brand battery.

Take a look at the sticky in the accesories forum. Sterlingtek is the aftermarket battery of choice around here.

Ditto... Sterlingtek. Last February I bought some at 28.98 for two. Ended up with 4. After 6 months of daily use and re-charging they are going strong! Here is the link to the sticky. https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=79584
