I am running RawShooter essentials 2006 on two PCs to view and edit my RAW pictures. No problem with my laptop but on desktop when trying to open a RAW file picture is divided into 4 sections and various colors. Can't do any edition or to combine the component by Channing the parameters.

Anyone with any suggestion as to what is happening? What am I missing?

This looks like you're using a 30D. Am I correct? The 30D isn't officially supported by RSE yet, and an RSP verison just barely made it out for purchase before Adobe bought up the product. They still say that RSE for the 30D should be out before the end of the summer... not much time left.

What version do you have, i thought the latest (recently updated v 1.2.1.72) version of RSE did support the 30D?

Registered users of RSP can still get updates. What you are illustrating here is what happened to me when I tried to load my 30D images into it before they got the 30D into their list of supported cameras.

You can download the updates from here (external link)

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

It appears you may be correct, the latest RSE may support the 30D after all. RSP has supported the 30D since May 30, which is what I'm on (well, technically it's a beta verison I got from them from earlier that month...)

OP may want to download the latest version of RSE to see if that solves the problem.

I have the latest update of RS premuim and it opens 30D RAW files so great.
Good luck.

-Uninstall.
-Fresh download (external link).
-Reinstall on another drive that has plenty of free space with converted subdirectory rooted there too.
-Changed few parameters such as Converted format from TIF to JPG.
Deleted all files from Preference.
-Added Adobe DNG converter and new Camera raw to subdirectory of PS CS. (Not sure if this has to do anything).

No update was added. I am using 30D.

I assume the version you downloaded was a newer version?

This is the LINK (external link) to last download I did.

No I had the same version. The only difference is adequate hard drive space for temp files that rawshooter needs to work on. Another friend of mine with the same problem also made his software back to work after installing on large (Free space) hard drive.
