I pieced this together from information on the Talk Photography (external link) site so thought I would share it as I have not seen it mentioned on here.

Although the advertised prices on the Dixons site for the 30D are £757.11 (body) and £818.11 (18-55 kit), using an egg card you can get one for £671.76 (body) or £729.71 (kit). If you pay using any other card you can still get one for £687.36 (body) and £746.23 (kit). Prices exclude delivery.

There are two things you need to do to get the discount prices. If you are an egg card holder go to the cashback page on the egg site (external link) and use their link to go to the Dixons site. Then search for "EOS30D", chose your camera, and on the shopping basket page enter the discount code "PERKZ50DIX". Then just click update and complete the purchase using your egg card. The code will give you £50 off the price, and egg will give you 5% cashback on the purchase price.

If you do not use egg then you will need to join Quidco (external link) and use their Dixons link (external link), after that just follow the same steps as above. This way you will (eventually) get 3.5% cashback on the purchase, though Quidco will take £5 of that for their annual fee. If you are a member and have paid the fee already then the prices above will be £5 cheaper!

Hope this interest someone. I have ordered a replacement egg card and as soon as it arrives I will be buying one this way.

Michael.

Comments, bribes, criticism, bribes, irrelevant anecdotes, and bribes always welcome.
EXIF is available inside all my photos, though bribes are still recommended anyway.

Nice ...

Quidco is cool. I use it quite a bit. Easy money. I used it tonight and made about £4.25 on a purchase.
